Thankfulness Turkey

One way my family likes to show what we are thankful for each year is by making Thankfulness Turkeys.  We cut out a basic turkey shape in tan, and feathers in several colors.   We then write out what we are thankful for on the feathers, and attach them to to the turkey bodies.  This year I hung them on the door  that you first see when you come in for the garage.  It is a constant reminder of  how much we have to be thankful for.

I was especially happy with how much my daugher was thankful for.  She had so many feathers that she was too tried to color them all.. =)

If you want to make a Thankful Turkey, but don't have colored paper or want to draw it out on your own, I have done the hard work for you.  I now have this project in my Etsy Shop - Dancing Unicorn by Pam.  There you can print out the turkey, two types of feathers, faces and feet.
