Dare to Share Features of the Day (#180)

I know I said I would be posting features over the weekend.  I ended up having unexpected plans on both days.  I was also able to work on two new posts for this week, because of those plans.  We made it to the Renaissance Festival, and I  baked cupcakes with a special friend of mine.  (more to that story later :))

I was so hard to pick features. There are just so many great projects each week!   I picked five that I think you will really enjoy.

Isn't this little witch adorable wearing her  DIY Witch Hat Headband?!  You can see how to make with this tutorial by Crafts Unleashed

I love Smores so when I see a cookie called Ooey Gooey Smores Cookies, I am in! You can find the recipe over at Eat, Pray, Read, Love.

Here is another cookie that the kids will love to help make and eat.  Witch Hat cookies by The Simple Parent.

If you have a child who loves Minecraft, you will have to check out these Bento Box Lunch and Snack Ideas by Attagirl Says.

I hope to go apple picking very soon. I could not help but notice these super cute Bushel of Apples Sugar Cookie Cups by Growing up Gabel

Dare to Share #164 Features

We are having a crazy few weeks here.  With my daughter graduating this week, our dance recital the week after, a sub wide garage sale the week after that, and moving later in the summer. saying our life is a bit busy is an understatement.   Going through the Dare to Share #164 party, there were so many different and interesting posts that for this party, I chose posts that caught my eye. I hope they catch yours too.

Here are the Dare to Share #164 Features of the Day

You all know how I love fun kid's party.  This Wild Kratt's Birthday party by Sarah of the Bombshell Bling is based on a TV show. It full of great ideas, and animals of all kinds.

Two of my favorite flavors are chocolate and strawberry.  Put the two together, and it makes me very happy.   I love these Single Serving Chocolate Strawberry Brownies by Sam of Pancake Warriors.

I would have never thought to put sweet corn in ice cream, but that is what Carrie from The Frugal Foodie Mama has done.  This flavor looks both unusual and interesting.

I love the taste of Orange Creamsicle so of course I am going to love Orange Creamsicle Cupcakes by Mariah of Formula: Mom

Having a daughter who is going to graduate this week, of course I love seeing graduation parties  This Peacock Gradutation party by  Pamela of Home on the Corner is both fun and colorful.

Spring Wreaths - Features of the Day

Four Spring Wreath Ideas

I noticed another trend on this week's Dare to Share Party.  Several bloggers were featuring colorful Spring Wreaths.  Each one were very different from the others.    If you are looking for some wreath ideas for your front door, definitely check out these posts

The Orchid Spring Wreath (upper left)  by Sarah of  Bombshell Bling really makes a statement. I can be made with a from, pretty fabric, and flowers.

The Monogram Spring Wreath (upper right) by Lani of Life Anchored recycled a fall wreath by changing out the flowers and adding a colorful initial.  Her tutorial might inspire to do a wreath makeover of your own.

The Frugal Yarn Spring Wreath (lower left) but Jennifer of The Jenny Evolution shared how to make this colorful wreath with not a lot of money or time. She also has  Spring Clothespin Wreath you can make out of dollar store clothespins

The Burlap, Lace, and Button Wreath (lower right)  by Jennifer of Busy Being Jennifer is fun and colorful, and a great way to use up extra craft supplies.

Be sure to stop by these blogs and see how they made their wreaths.  Thank you Sarah, Lani, Jennifer, and Jennifer for sharing your creations on Dare to Share!
