Dare to Share #535

It's Friday night, and you know what that means..
It is time to Dare to Share!

Happy Labor Day Weekend! It's hard to believe that the unofficial end of summer is here.   Do you have any plans for this holiday weekend?  We have a few things in mind, but nothing set in stone.

I have been very busy this past week.  I recently applied for an online teaching job.  They would like me to interview, which I will do next week.  I have been busy working on my Instagram, because the Dollar Tree got in so many amazing Halloween items this week that are definitely share worthy. (stop by and follow me over there, if you  would like to see all the new finds).  I have also been busy on the blog.  The start of September makes me think of scarecrows.   This week I posted two Scarecrow themed posts..

The first post is my Scarecrow and Crow Pumpkins.  You may have seen them before, but I recently reshared them with an updated post on how to make them.

I also shared a post Tips for a Fall Harvest Scarecrow Party, I made these cute Scarecrow Cookie Pops years ago, which are great treats for a fall party.

Also since it is Labor Day weekend, it's the perfect time for a sale.  I put my entire Etsy Shop on sale for the weekend.   I would love for you to stop by, and take a look.

Well it is after midnight, so it is time to get this party starte. Link Up and HAVE FUN!

Dare to Share #533

It's Friday night, and you know what that means.
It is time to Dare to Share!

Sorry I did not have a chance to write a blog post this week.  I do have a good excuse though.

This girl may be smiling in this picture, but she actually gave us a bit of a scare this week.  Last weekend, Cookie had a sore on her back. By Monday morning, the sore was very large and looked horrible. We scheduled her a vet appointment and they saw her that afternoon. The vet looked her over, and said that it was bad enough that we needed to do surgery to close it.  Tuesday afternoon we dropped her off, and a few hours later we picked up our groggy doggie.  We have had to keep a close eye on her this week to make sure she didn't rip open her staples or rough house with our other dog.

I took this picture today while at the vet for her recheck. She is doing a lot better, has her energy back, but has to wear her cone for 10 more days. We will go back then to have her staples removed.

Another thing that has occupied my time this week, is I spent a couple of afternoons with my bonus daughter.  She asked if we could go to a couple of Goodwills in the area.  I am so glad that I did.  Did you know that you can find brand new Halloween items at Goodwill?  I will be posting about  our thrift store adventure this upcoming week. (and I promise our vacation post will be posted too!)

In what little spare time that I had this week, I have been working and listing several new Halloween listings in my Etsy Shop like this You've Been Booed Candy Bucket Bundle. I would love it if you stopped by and checked them out.

Also if you tried to get this online exclusive Halloween Gnomes from my post Dollar Tree Plus Items Now Online and they were sold out, they have more in and then are currently available.

Well it looks like it is time to get this party started. Link Up and HAVE FUN!!

Dare to Share #530

It is Friday night, and you know what that means.
It is time to Dare to Share!

Well after a very productive week on the blog last week, this week not so much.  I have been busy doing other things.  Two days this week we spent time with family who was visiting from  out of state.  We have also been preparing for a fun road trip we have planned.  We are still not totally sure what all we will be seeing other than going to my moms, and a short stay in Branson, but I am sure we will have fun.

I am excited that I have been selling some of my Road Trip Scavenger Bundles from my Etsy Shop this week.  I am also about 95% finished with a much bigger road trip bundle with games for the entire family. I hope to have that posted before we leave on our trip.  I am definitely bringing a bundle with me to try out all of the games.

If you have ever thought about making printables, I highly recommend the course from Gold City Ventures lead by Julie and Cody.  I bought the course last year, and I am currently part of their Facebook Group.  That are wonderful teachers and hands on with their students. We meet several times during the month with live Q and As, and they are the must supportive Facebook group I have ever been a part of.   :)

Well it looks like it is time to get this party started.  Link up and HAVE FUN!!

Dare to Share #529

It is Friday night, and you know what that means..
It is time to Dare to Share!

How is everyone doing?  Is the summer flying for you too? School ended in the middle of June for me, then the last few weeks of June I was working on move.  Then it was 4th of July and now poof, the month is almost over. While I am still working on figuring out my new craft room, and where we are going to put things since the move a few weeks ago, I have been spending more time on my blog and Etsy shop. I was able to write three blog posts this week.

During last week's party I mentioned that I had some new things in the works for this week. One of those things is my review for Lovepop Birthday Cards.  I have to say, I was really impressed so you might want to read that review.

We are going to be visiting Branson, Mo in a few weeks. We plan on visiting the Hollywood Wax Museum Entertainment Center.  As a member of the US Family Network, I am able to share a coupon for $2 off a ticket that is good until the end of the year so if you are going to Branson, check out that post.

I have an exciting reason why I posted the third post about the awesome sunflower dishes from the Dollar Tree.  The Dollar Tree contacted me on Instagram a few days ago.  They saw my sunflower dish pictures and asked if they could feature me on their Instagram page.  That was a big YES! My feature should happen very soon, so I wrote a blog post about how the dishes would be great for your fall parties.

I am in the process of adding some new listings on my Etsy shop, but they are not listed yet.

Well it is getting pretty late, so I better get the party started.    I am visiting with one of my besties in Michigan tonight.  We went to the dance and now catching up.   Link up and HAVE FUN!!

Dare to Share #528

It is Friday night, and you know what that means..
It is time to Dare to Share!

Happy Friday! This week flew by pretty quickly. I am starting to settle in more from my move.  We are still slowing figuring out where are going to put things, and most of the boxes are out of the garage. My craft room has made some progress as well. All of the shelving is in place, so now I can start figuring out how to organize all of my craft supplies.  I have a lot of stuff, so it might take me some time to figure out what works best for me.

While I did not publish a blog post this week, I do have several things in the works for next week.  I will be posting a review on some really cool cards I received sometime in the next few days.

I have been working on my Etsy Shop  and creating new listings.  I have a Christmas in July sale going on through tomorrow, and I added a new listing today.  We are going on a road trip in the next few weeks, and I thought it would be fun to take along some printable road trip games.  This is my scavenger hunt listing.  I have a bigger bundle with even more games for teens and adults that I hope to get posted soon.

If you saw my Dollar Tree Glass Blowout Sale post and saw the code on $5.99 shipping on all orders through July 16 with the code SAVENOW,  I received word that they will be continuing the $5.99 shipping July 18th-July 20th with the code SHIPBTS.  They have added their Halloween Crafting SuppliesFall Decor, and many of their Back to School Essentials to their website this week.

This weekend we are having a family reunion.  I will be meeting several of my boyfriend's extended relatives for the first time.  We will be on a lake for the day, and I am really looking forward to all the food.  I will let  you know how it goes.

My question for this week.  Have you attended a family reunion recently?  How did it go?

Well it is time to get this week's party started. Link up and HAVE FUN!!

Dare to Share #527

It is Friday night, and you know what that means..
It is time to Dare to Share!

Wow what a week I have had since I last posted. It doesn't feel like I moved just a week ago.  There are still things that need to be done, but we have been able to take a breath and get some rest again.  While I am still unpacking, I am also back working on the computer.  Can you believe I wrote three blog posts this week?!  Here is just some of what I have been up to.

I wrote more about my move in my post, I survived my move!

A fun post I wrote is Minion Party Ideas. Over the years I have shared a lot of Despicable Me Party posts and with the popularity of the new Minion movie, I thought the time was right to re-share some of those old posts.

Earlier today I wrote a post about Dollar Trees summer glassware blowout and special shipping deal (with code) in my post Cant Miss Dollar Tree Glassware Blowout and flat rate shipping.  If you love the Dollar Tree like I do, you will want to follow me over on Instagram where I share my Dollar Tree hauls and diys.

There has been some things going on over at my Etsy Shop this week as well.  I just added a new meal planner with grocery lists listing, and started a Christmas in July sale on many of my holiday items in the shop.

I also have something fun in the works.  I was contacted by a specialty card company earlier this week, and I will soon be reviewing some of their products.  They look really cool, so I think it will be a fun post to share.

There is still a lot to be done this weekend in the craft room and with the unpacking, but we have been making a lot of progress.

With all of that news, what fun things have you been up to? Let me know in the comments.

Are you ready to get the party started?  Link up and HAVE FUN!

Dare to Share #515

It is Friday night, and you know what that means..
It is time to Dare to Share!

Happy Easter weekend! Do you have any special plans? I am in Ohio celebrating with my boyfriend and his family.  While the kids are too old for an egg hunt, we still plan on doing Easter baskets and coloring eggs this weekend. I am also looking forward  to making them a special Easter dinner.

I recently posted that I was really excited about the new Shore Collection that was coming to the Dollar Tree.  I am happy to say that it has now started arriving in stores this week.  Several of the items did come home with me.  I have been posting a lot of the pictures and reels over on my Instagram if you would like to see them.

This is one of my favorite signs. Not only is it really cute, but it's really good quality.    I am in the process of writing a post about all the mermaid items I found around the store, and ideas on how to have a mermaid party.  It should be up on the blog  shortly.

I decided to share some of my past Easter posts, since I was not able to get a new post posted this week (we had state mandated testing at school all week)  This post is Easter Basket Ideas Dollar Tree Style. It was the Easter basket I gave my daughter last year. I got the basket and everything in it from the Dollar Tree.

If you have not colored your Easter Eggs yet, in the post Fun Easter Egg Coloring Ideas I share some of the techniques we used to make some unusual, but pretty looking eggs.

If you need some last minute ideas like our favorite holiday breakfast, Make Ahead French Toast, then you will want to check out the post Last Minute Easter Ideas

If you need any last minute Easter tags, I have several different versions in my Etsy Shop

Well it is getting to be that time again, time to get the party started.  Link up and HAVE FUN!

Dare to Share #514

It is Friday night, and you know what that means..
It is time to Dare to Share!

Happy Friday! I hope you had a good week. We were back at school this week after a long spring break.  As an adjustment week easing back into our school schedule, it actually was a pretty good week.   I taught in some of my favorite classrooms and today, we had an assembly called Artrageous. They cast sings, and dances while also painting some really cool paintings. (you can see more about them on YouTube)  Next week is state mandated testing again, so we will have to see how that goes.

I did write a new post this week. On Instagram I had someone ask me if I had any ideas for a tea party.  While it is has been a long time since I have been able to plan an actual party, her question got me thinking, why not come up with some new ideas and share them on all three of my platforms.  While at the Dollar Tree this week, I found a lot of items that could be used for a tea party.  I shared the pics on Instagram.  I then wrote the blog post, Ideas to Throw a Tea Party on a Budget.  I am also working on some Tea Party party items to list on my Etsy Shop.  I have a long list of party ideas that I am working on, and I am really excited to work on them full time once school is out this summer.

I did list a few new items in my shop for Mothers Day.

Well it is getting to be pretty late so let's get this party started.  Link up and HAVE FUN!

Dare to Share #513

It's Friday night, and you know what that means..
it is time to Dare to Share!

This week was my Spring Break.  Unfortunately I was not able to go anywhere warm this week.  It was cold and rainy, and I was still busy working.  While I had a break from school, I was busy sorting and packing for me upcoming move, and also working in my Etsy shop.  I feel like we got a decent amount accomplished, but it would have been more had I not tweeked my back early in the week. You do not realize how much you have to move while packing, until your body tells you that it hurts when you move a certain way.  While I am still a little sore, I am starting to feel better.

I did have the chance to share a blog post this week.  The Dollar Tree has released an amazing Shore Collection on their website.  Hopefully this means will be seeing some of these products in the stores in the upcoming months as well.  I have not been as excited about a collection as I have about this one. It brings me back to the summer of 2020 when I went one of my favorite vacations ever around the coast of lower and upper Michigan.  You can see what I am talking in my post Amazing New Shore Finds From The Dollar Tree.

I have added several new listing for Easter to my Etsy shop. If you are interested in checking them out, you can see my shop here.

I do have a question that I would like to ask here. I am in the process of planning some party bundles for my shop.  I am keeping of lists of that party themes I want to create.  Does anyone have a party theme ideas that would like to see?

Well it is getting to be about that time. It is time to get this party started.  Link Up and HAVE FUN!

Dare to Share #505

It's Friday night, and you know what that means..
It is time to Dare to Share!

Well it's been another busy week!  I know I say that every week, but this time it's for different reasons.  Monday and Tuesday were pretty normal. We had school like normal. On Tuesday is was sunny and in the 40s.  That was unfortunately the calm before the storm.  The actual storm.  Starting very early Wednesday morning the snow started and didn't stop until we had a foot of snow on the ground and several snow days in a row.  It felt so bizarre staying home the last few days. The roads were just too bad to go anywhere, so I cancelled me two tutoring appointments.  We did unbury my car Wednesday afternoon because my daughter had to go check on a dog she watches, but that was the only place we went.  The roads were awful!  Being home not going anywhere, feels reminiscent of the first few days of the Covid shut down, but less stressful because this time I know it really is just for a few days.  I have caught up on my sleep, and had time to write a few blog posts and work on my Etsy shop.   The roads should now be clear, so I "might" venture out tomorrow.

Last weekend I shared the post Celebrating the Chinese New Year.  While I do not celebrate it on a regular basis, we did enjoy Chinese food and are very excited that it is the Year of the Tiger. (Go Bengals!)

Mid week, while having our first snow day of the year so far, I shared my post How to celebrate a SNOW DAY. I shared some of the fun activities we used to do on snow days, and lots of snow themed recipes.

Earlier today I posted How to host a Super Bowl Party.  My Bengals are going to the big game for the first time in 33 years. I am definitely invested in the outcome of the game this year.  In my post I shared some decoration ideas and lots of great party recipes.

On my Etsy shop Dancing Unicorn by Pam,  I have several printable classroom Valentines and treat bag toppers, and will be listing Love Coupons this weekend.

Were you affected by the massive storm this week.  Let  me know is the comments below.

Well it looks like it is time to get the party started.  Link up and HAVE FUN!

Dare to Share #494

It is Friday night, and you know what that means..
It is time to Dare to Share!

This was definitely a  week at school. We have several teachers out for different big reasons at my school, and not enough subs to cover it all.  We also had one of our elementary schools in our district  close for a couple of weeks because of the number of Covid cases they have. They will be online until after Thanksgiving.  It was definitely busy, but thankfully we made it though.

Not only am I busy at school, but I have been busy online as well.

In my Etsy shop, I have been selling my Thankfulness Turkey Kits based on a Thanksgiving tradition I did every year which you can see in this post here.

I shared two posts this week. I love the fun of gingerbread during the holidays, so I shared an update post on gingerbread party ideas and crafts.

Even though we still have a few weeks until Thanksgiving and the official start of the Christmas season, a lot of people that I know are putting up their Christmas tree. Now is the perfect time to start making ornaments for the tree.  I share a post with some easy ornament DIYS, with some of my favorite ornaments.

Do you have your Christmas Tree up yet?

Well it is super late (we just got back from the dance) and it is time to get this party started.  Link up and HAVE FUN!

Dare to Sharer #474

It is Friday night, and you know what that means..
It is time to Dare to Share!

Whew, this Friday was a lot less eventful than it was last week.  It was another rainy day, but I did not have to travel, and my tire is still on my car. :) If you missed what happened last week, you can read about it here.

This past week, I had the chance to post several posts.   I shared several of the Prime Day Deals that I found.  While it is not longer Prime Day, you might still be interested in some of the cool party items and other  fun finds I shared.  You can see those posts below.

I also added to my Summer Party Ideas Series.  This week I added the supplies we found for a Watermelon Party.  We are actually having a watermelon party at the beginning of July. My daughter and my boyfriend's daughter are only 2 days apart.  I My daughter has had many themed parties over the years, and is planning for something a little later in the month.  My boyfriend's daughter has not had a birthday party in awhile so I took her to Dollar Tree to pick out supplies.  She loves watermelon (and many other kinds of fruit) so she really wanted to go that theme.  We found so many great supplies, and I have several party crafts and ideas  that I will be sharing with you over the next few weeks.

Well it looks to be about that time.. It's time to get the party started.. Link up and HAVE FUN!

Dare to Share #465

It's Friday night, and you know what that means..
It is time to Dare to Share!

How is it Friday already?  This week flew by for me.  We are already down to only 7 weeks of school left before summer vacation.

If you walk into a Dollar Tree this week, it feels like summer.  They have out their summer party lines. There were so many cute items it inspired me to start a series of summer party posts.  Cute pink flamingo were everywhere, so the first post in the series is Summer Party Ideas - Pink Flamingos

I was also going through some old posts on one of my blogs when I came across a special one from seven years ago.  My son has Aspergers. When he was 14, he started to really feel different from the other kids. Back then I wrote a post about our conversation because I felt it might help someone else who knows/loves/teaches someone on the spectrum.  Now that I actually teach special ed, I feel this post is still very timely.  You can read it here What I told my son when he asked, "Am I disabled"

Well it is almost midnight so it is time to get this party started.  Link up and HAVE FUN!
