Dare to Share #70





It's Friday night!  It's time to Dare to Share!
What have you been up to this week?



I have a few updates to share with you.  I have made a few changes to the blog that I think you should know about.  I have updated my About Me page. I have added some newer pictures, and shared some more pics of parties we have had.    I also updated my linky party page.  Instead of being a long list of buttons all over the page,  I am using Inlinkz to keep them pretty and organized.  There were many buttons on my old page that were no longer working, or the blogger no longer blogging.  You are welcome to add your party button to my party page if it is not added already.  I will also be updating my other pages in the next few weeks.  



It's been about 6 weeks since I have updated you on my weight loss journey.  I wasn't trying to avoid the subject, I just had nothing to tell.  For the last 6 weeks I was stuck.  I pretty much stayed around 141-143. I saw my Dr. a couple of weeks ago.  She was happy that I was maintaining and not gaining with everything going on.  We had company visiting for 3 of the 4 weeks in July,  We had Kara's birthday, the 4th of July, and a birthday party.  I was not eating as good as I should during those weeks, but did not gain back the weight I had lost..  This week I am happy to report that I finally had a breakthrough.. I can officially say I am now in the 130s.  It's 139, but I will take it.  Hopefully I will continue to lose some more in the upcoming weeks. 



Did you see the posts I shared this week?  On Monday I had a guest post over at TuTus and Tea Parties. I made these Despicable Me 2 minion puppets after seeing the movie. 


On Wednesday I shared a post about our Summer Fun Challenge.  We have not yet crossed everything off our summer to do list, but we have done quite a bit. In this post you can see some of the fun things we have done, and what we still plan to do.

  3. Ah, the dreaded diet plateau. I am like you and just maintaining but not gaining, of course vacation isn't the time one would lose. Thanks for hosting.
