As you can see from the picture, I am a bit busy this week. My mom is coming for 9 day visit this weekend. YEA!! Between Kara's birthday, the 4th of July, no energy during the heatwave and an unexpected power outage, I haven't really felt like cleaning. I really don't need an excuse though, I NEVER feel like cleaning. My teenage daughter is allowing grandma to use her bedroom during the visit, which means some added work. We have to pick up the closet's worth of clothes off the floor, and clean out parts of her room that has not seen the light of day in quite awhile. Her room is not the only room where I am spending my time.. Many other parts of my house are getting some much needed attention as well. I still have the party on my mind, but have not had time for much crafting and prepping much this week. So instead of painting and creating, today's agenda includes doing the laundry, going on a grocery store run, finishing teenage daughters room, making kids pick up their crap in the family room and some yard work. I could share tutorials from those things, but I don't think that will be much fun! I have many fun posts planned in the coming days that I can't wait to share!
