Dare to Share #79

Host a Pumpkin Themed Party for under $20

It is Friday night, so you know what that means!
It's time to Dare to Share!

Did this week seem to fly by for you too?  It really feels to me like time is going faster than it used to.. I mean, how did it become October already.. Didn't we just finish summer a few days ago?  We are having a fluke week of warm weather here in Michigan, so it actually still feels like summer.     You are probably wondering what the picture of all the dresses is about.   Last weekend I took my oldest to Cinderella's Closet where they sell gently used dresses during Homecoming and Prom season.  All dresses are only $25, and all proceeds go to a local agency that helps woman and children.  We did find a dress, but my daughter has decided she is  not really interested in going to Homecoming.  I told her we could still get a just in case she changes her mind dress, since it is for a good cause.  If she doesn't go,  she could wear it another time, or even allow her mom to wear it.

I  still have a lot of fun Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs ideas to share..  it's just between scouts, dance, middle school teacher night, helping kids with homework,  and the Orthodontist this week, I have not  had the time to make some of my ideas or get to the store. I did have the supplies on hand to make Flint's Party in a Box on Wednesday, but that is the only one so far.    I DO have time this weekend, so you will be seeing new Cloudy posts  in the next day or two..  Our local theater had this cute painted  cardboard cut out of Steve the monkey on display when we went to see the movie.. If you like to paint and have some cardboard, you might want to give this a try.

One thing I was able to do was put together a post on How to Host a Pumpkin Themed Party for under $20, on the new site JOYful, Home and Life.  I am one of the special events contributors and will be sharing party ideas on the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month.  If you would like to see how much I actually spent, you can see the run down of the party  here.

Did you see the fabulous Features of the Day this week?  Here is you chance if you missed them the first time.

Now it is time for this week's party.  I don't have a lot of rules, you can link up anything that you would like to share.  I don't require that you become a follower, but I would sure love it if you would.  If you are chosen as a Feature of the Day, you post will be promoted on the blog, BlogLovinTwitterPinterest, and G+.

Now Link Up and HAVE FUN!

    1. Thank you Julie.. The pics came out a bit dark, because we have horrible lighting in the kitchen. I really need to find a way to change that.. :)

    1. It was in the 80s all week last week, but today back to reality.. Woke up to 50 degrees with a high in the low 60s. At least it will feel like fall again.
