As Seen on TV

Sometimes late at night if I am awake, I will watch TV.  In the middle of the night, you get to see  many types of infomercials.   I do admit that I have been tempted at times to try the product out.  I bought my Bullet mixer after an infomercial, while shopping at Bed, Bath and Beyond with a coupon.  I have been very happy with it, even though it doesn't really make things less than 10 seconds. More like 20 seconds.

About a week ago I saw one for the product Super Clean.  It claimed to removed grease and other dirt with foaming power.  If you have been a long time follower, you know that I am not a big fan of cleaning.   I usually don't have a lot of time, and since I do not like to do it,  I clean some items only when necessary. I do try and keep up with the daily chores, like dishes and laundry.

One thing that does not get cleaned very often is the oven door.  Grease had really built up, and had become extremely difficult to remove. On the infomercial, they cleaned an oven door quickly and easily without scrubbing.  To me that was worth the $19.95 package price (with FREE shipping) to try the 4 pack of Super Clean.

This was what my over door looked like. I know it is really, really bad, but cleaning the  oven door is not high on the priority list.

Almost immediately I could see the bubble loosening the grease.

This is after two applications.  While I did not get all of the grease off, I got 90% off.  I had also forgotten that the area around the glass was gray. I had so much build up that it had turned black.

I do try and keep up with the top of the stove.  I am often cleaning and scrapping the build up that seems to happen every time someone uses it.  There are several people who use the stove, and it seems like something is always boiling over.

After only one application, it almost all came off without any scrapping at all!

I feel the kitchen cleaner is a definitely keeper!
But how will it do in the bathroom?

We have very hard water and have trouble with rust build up, especially if we run low on salt for our softener.   This stuff is difficult to get off of the shower. I have tried many products, but nothing seemed to remove all of the rust/calcium build up.

I was beyond thrilled when this product removed almost all of the build up in my shower in minutes!
One word of warning.  After cleaning, my hands felt a little weird.  I read the back of the bottle and it said to wear gloves when using it.  Ooops! I didnt remember them using gloves in the infomercial, so I didnt think of it.  My hands are feeling a bit dry, but will hopefully will be normal in just a bit. Lesson learned, WEAR GLOVES next time.  Even with that, I feel the bathroom cleaner is a keeper too.

I have not tried the grill cleaner yet, but if it works like the kitchen and household cleaner, I am sure I will be happy.

I have another product on the way, that I hope to share about soon.  I might make this as series because there are a few products I really want to try such as the sticky buddy to remove excess pet hair.
