What a week! I don't think I mentioned that a few weeks ago one of the teachers at my center left without notice. Since we are a small center, we have a small staff. Her leaving has affected our usual schedule, because we have to have enough teachers to stay in ratios. I work part time (by choice), but this week I have worked three full days in addition to regular schedule days, to make sure we had enough staff. On top of that I having been fighting a bug that I have had for two weeks. I got it from one of our toddlers. I am very glad it is Friday so I can get some much needed rest.
I posted the photo of the pumpkins above, I was able to get the perfect pumpkin this week for FREE. If you have a Meijer where you live, large pumpkins are $4.99 this week. I used my MPerks points, and got mine for free. I thought I had a photo of it, but it turns out it is a video.
I am looking forward to this weekend. We have a few fun things planned. We are going with our grandbaby to a fall festival, and then on Sunday will be seeing a Journey Tribute band. Both of these activities have been planned for a few weeks. Thankfully we live in part of the country where the weather isn't crazy right now.
