Another game my son loves to play is Minecraft. Looking around on Pinterest I found several possible Minecraft treats, but when I saw the Creeper Marshmallows by Say Not Sweet Anne, I knew I had the one I wanted to try.

Skyrim Sweet Rolls and More Video Game Party Ideas
So far I have shared our Portal Cake, and Pokeball Rice Krispie Treats, today I will be sharing more about our Skyrim Sweet Rolls and Minecraft Marshmallows.
I honestly do not really know much about Skyrim other than it is a role playing adventure game set in a fictional land with feuding groups and dragon slaying. A popular treat found in several locations in the game is a special sweet roll. Once again there is an "official" recipe that has a lot of ingredients to make it from scratch that can be found online. While I am sure that the recipe is very good, I knew there was a faster way to make sweet rolls that I knew my son would love.

Pokeball Rice Krispie Treats
One of the games that my son has played for any years is Pokemon. He likes to play it on the DS. He has had several versions over the years, and we even had a Pokemon themed birthday party which you can see on the blog. His sister decided to make him Pokeball Rice Krispies Treats.

Video Game Birthday - Portal Cake
My son's 15th birthday was this week. I wanted to do something special for him, but I wasn't sure what. When he told me he wanted a chocolate cake, I knew I had my answer. His favorite thing to do is play video games. One of his favorite games to play is Portal, and in the game there is a special Portal Cake. When i saw a picture of the Portal Cake, I knew it would be perfect for his birthday cake. In addition to Portal, my son also enjoys playing Minecraft, Pokemon and Skyrim. I thought it would be fun to make a special treat from each one of those games, Skyrim Sweet Rolls, Pokeball RIce Krispie Treats, and Minecraft Marshmallows. Over the next few days I will be sharing the treats that I made. Today we are starting with the cake.
