Dare to Share FEATURES of the Day

This week I am changing things up again. Between Labor Day, the start  of school. a substitute teacher meeting (I am going to be a sub!) and very, very slow internet service this week, I have not had a lot of time to post. While going through the Dare to Share  party, I saw so many awesome ideas.  I chose five (one for each weekday) of the things that I loved, and are very timely to what is going on right now.

With the start of school, many families find themselves trying to adjust to getting back on schedule. This is especially true when you have a  child on the spectrum like me and Lisa of A Day in Our Shoes. She shared 20 visual printable schedules that may help  to get this school year on the right track.

I don't know about you, but I am still having a tough time adjusting that it is September, let alone that  Halloween is NEXT MONTH!  For the last several years I had made homemade Halloween costumes for my kids, while they are a bit on the older side now, I do have a special nine year old in my life that hope  I can make one for this year. I think this Easy Candy Corn Costume by The Mom Creative  is adorable, and simple enough for everyone to make.  The smiling baby in the is super cute too!

Apple season is here!  I love to go apple picking every year.  A fun thing you can do with all those apples is Host a Caramel Apple Bar like Momma DJane. Everything looks so yummy, and it is sure to be something that you friends enjoy.

I love the Disney channel.  Confession time, I even watch Disney channel without my kids. This past summer the Descendants movie was a huge hit.  They are spinning off an animated show this fall, and will be making Descendants 2 in the near future. If you have kids who are fans, they may have some of the dolls and accessories.  Views from the Ville shared this fun craft to make Descendant themed storage for your kids toys.

This treat looks amazing to me. Not only are the fries made from funnel cake, but they are dipped in S'Mores dip That sounds heavenly to me. You can see how the full recipe on how to make your own on Bombshell Bling

Free 4th of July Printable - Feature of the Day

Are you ready for the 4th of July yet?  I have to admit, this year it kind of snuck up on me.  We were so busy in June, that I can't believe the 4th is only two days away.  There is still time to make some  flags using the free  printable from  Carrie Elle. They would be fun to print for the kids to color.  Your kids will be  proud to  take their flags  to the holiday parade, or to decorate your 4th of July BBQ.  Thank you so much Carrie for linking up this great printable to Dare to Share.

Free Blog Planner - Feature of the Day

I don't know about you, but this time of year always makes me want to become more organized. It could be because my kids are getting ready to go back to school.  This is the time of year when they get new notebooks and binders.  They might also get new clothes in a bigger size because they grew over the summer.    I was looking at buying a new planner for myself when shopping for school supplies, but the prices of some planners I found put me in sticker shock.  Luckily, that is not the case from Judy of Pursuit of a Functional Home, she was sweet enough to share her FREE printable blog planner with a video on how to use it  on this week's Dare to Share.  How awesome is that?!  To print Judy's blog planner, be sure to check out her blog Pursuit of a Functional Home HERE. Thanks so much for linking it up to Dare to Share Judy!
