I love watermelon. I could eat it everyday, and it is one of my favorite snacks in the summer. With this week being a holiday week, I am sure there will be a lot of watermelon served at parties and BBQs. Watermelon Salad - Feature of the Day

Have you recuperated from the holiday weekend yet? My weekend was spent making kids catch up on their homework. (but that is another story that you will see on Surviving the Crazy Life later today) I had bought a watermelon for this weekend that is still sitting on the counter, which makes this Watemelon Salad Recipe by Stephanie of Spaceships and Laser Beams perfectly timed. National Watermelon Day

I just read online that today is National Watermelon Day. (It is also known as my brother's birthday) Watermelon is one of my favorite fruits and I constantly craved it while pregnant with my daughter Kara. I think I might need to go to the store and pick up one, since it is beginning to sound very good about now.
