Frankenpumpkin aka Frankenstein Pumpkin

How to make a Frankenpumpkin #pumpkin

Frankenpumpkin is now finished and hanging out with his friends mummy pumpkin, and vampire pumpkin.  Two more friends will hopefully be joining them this week.

I started by painting one of the dollar store craft pumpkins a deep forest green color.

I painted the top portion black and bringing it down into points, to look more like hair.

I glued on some large google eyes that I found at the dollar store.  To make his bolts, I painted two clear push pins black. If you have small children, you might want to glue them into place.  I just pushed them into the pumpkin, but they are easy to pull out.

The brush I used for his stitches was a little too thick, so I might touch him back up with a little bit of forest green.  Monsters are not supposed to look perfect though, so it doesn't really matter if the stitches are a little uneven.

Update:  The Dollar Tree craft foam pumpkins I used in this craft is now online at DollarTree.com. They are available in orange and white, and in smaller quantities.
