It's Friday night, and you know what that means..
It is time to Dare to Share!
I am in Michigan this weekend, so the party is having a little bit of a late start. I am also have some trouble with my Inlinkz link. For some reason I have received a bad gateway error message two or three times. I will write a little bit about my week, and then I will try again. On Monday as I was leaving work my engine light went on. As you can see I also needed gas which was $4.49 a gallon where I lived. Ouch! I added about a half tank of gas, and drove straight home until D could look at my car. He has some sort of device that tells him why the light came on. In this case something was loose but he could not tell what, and it was getting to dark to keep looking. He did determine that my car was safe enough to drive to work, but told me not to do a lot of extra driving until we knew for sure. When I got my gas, the miles on the car said 235 miles. I drove the 7 miles home. The next morning when I started my car the number said 169 miles. I was baffled why approximately 50 miles just disappeared. On Tuesday when he was able to look at it more in the daylight, it was determined that my gas sensor was acting up. He removed the sensor, and went to a couple of auto stores. It turned out none of the auto stores had one. They said he could order one, but it would take a couple of days and would cost $100. Since I was not able to miss work due to my line of work and low staff this week, he decided to put the sensor back in to see what would happen. When he did that, the engine light turned off. The numbers on the dash were off for a couple of days. I drove to and from work twice, which would be 28 miles and the tank stayed in the 140s. Finally today on my way to work the numbers aligned again, and the light did not come on. Has anyone else had a similar problem with your gas sensor?

I hope that you can figure out exactly what is going on with your gas sensor. Inlinkz always has some issues; it times out, and yes, I've gotten that message a few times from their website. Thank you for hosting.
