It is Friday night, and you know what that means..

Did you have a good 4th? I went to Cedar Point (one of my favorite places to go in the summer) with some of my friends. We had a great day and, the fireworks were amazing!
Tonight I did something I have never done before, I was a wingman/spy for a friend who was on a date for the first time with someone she met online. She was meeting him at a local coffee shop, and was not sure what to expect. I sat in another part of the place keeping busy with my phone. I realized halfway through the date, that we did not discuss any hand signals, or have an out plan. I was texting another friend who thought it was very funny that we did not think about what we were going to do ahead of time. I ended up staying until the end of the date. She was actually glad that I did, because she felt safer with me there..

It is Friday night, and you know what that means..
It is time to Dare to Share!
It looks like tonight, is the night for technical difficulties. I was at a friend's house for a few hours. She lives 30 minutes away. I had just arrived home when she messaged and said she found my wallet. It has everything in it. My license, debit card, money etc.. I had to go back out at after 10 p.m. to pick it up Then when I get home, my computer seems to not be cooperating. So this party is going to happen, just a bit later than planned.
I am pretty excited that a new Despicable Me movie is coming out this weekend. One of my favorite posts on this blog is How to Make Despicable Me Minions. I hope to see this new movie soon.

So how has your summer been going so far? Mine has been a lot of fun. In the past couple of weeks since school got out, I have been listening to live bands, dancing in the rain, watching fireworks, and hot air balloons. This summer has been different than others, probably because my kids are almost all grown up now. It will be a summer for transitions for sure, but I think it will be a very special one.
One transition you will notice is my co-host Kim is in the process of updating her site. She is changing the name from Kandy Kreations to Everyday Parties.. Be sure to go over and check out her Wonder Women party posts.

Last week you may have noticed that the party did not happy. I have a good excuse though. Something big happened in my house last weekend.
Someone in my family graduated. It is still a bit hard to believe. When you first met him on this blog doing Cooking with Kyle recipes, I think he was in 6th grade.
Now summer break is upon us. I hope to have the chance to start making projects and recipes again

Dare to Share #265
It is Friday night, and you know what that means..
It is time to Dare to Share!
It has been a busier than normal week over here. While he has not officially graduated yet, my son got his cap and gown. Our high school has a tradition of having a Senior walk where the kids walk through the school for the last time in their caps and gowns. It is a strange feeling to see your child wearing it for the first time. I am really hoping he gets a haircut and shaves before the real thing! Tonight was a really fun one for me and several of my friends. The Detroit Tigers had a flash sale where they offered tickets for only $6.01 to celebrate the start of the summer. The weather was fantastic and the Tigers won 15 to 5! We had such a good time, we really hope to do it again soon.
Now that school is almost over, and things will be slowing down, I will hopefully have time to share real blog posts again.
Since I just got home and it is nearly 1 am, I need to get the party posted.

Did you have a nice Easter? We did.. It ended up being kind of eventful. We had Easter dinner with friends on both Saturday and Sunday. The weather ended up being beautiful, and we spent a lot of time outside.
