Dare to Share #396

It is Saturday, and you know what that means..

It is time to Dare to Share!

I am so thankful you understood why I was late with the part last weekend, because I did it again this week.  It's been a full, busy week again. Last weekend I saw my Buckeyes win the Big 10 championship, and went to Frankenmuth to see all the Christmas decorations. Frankenmuth is a quaint little town in Michigan where they have a gigantic Christmas store. The entire town is light up and full of Christmas spirit.  This week I was busy at school with the kids bouncing off the walls because it is almost break, and on top of that a lovely head cold.   I am now on the mend though, and ready to get this party started.

It is Saturday, and you know what that means..

It is time to Dare to Share!

Do you ever have weeks were you are so busy that you forget to do things.  I have been working every school day, trying to get ready for Christmas, had plans last night, and have errands to do today.  It just hit me that I forgot to post the party last night when I got home.  Sorry this party is a little late, but better late than never right?!

How is your holiday planning going?

Let me get this party started before I am on the go again..

It's Friday night and you know what that means..

It is time to Dare to Share!

How was your Thanksgiving?  Friendsgiving went well and so did my low key day with my kids.  I am looking forward to this weekend when my Buckeyes play the Wolverines at the Big House. (you will know what that means if you follow football)  It's a game that many people in my part of the country look forward to all year.

Well I am going to get this party started, because I have a lot I need to get done..

It is Saturday morning, and you know what that means..

It is time to Dare to Share!

How can it be in the middle of November already.  Wasn't it just Halloween the other day? Well depending on where you live, it may actually feel like January. We had an unexpected day off of school this week.  We were predicted to get a couple of inches of snow where we live. Instead of a couple of inches we got almost a foot.  My son had a little bit of fun with our buried car.

This weekend we also have football on the brain.  I may be a displaced Ohio girl, and the talk everywhere I go is Michigan vs Michigan State.  We had wear your color day at school and at last night's dance.  Guess what colors I wore..  if you said Scarlet and Gray you would be correct.  LOL! I am not going to root for a Michigan team. Though I would like to see State beat Michigan, because Buckeyes are born to not like Wolverines.. :)

Well it is time to get this party started.

Dare to Share #391

It is Friday night, and you know what that means..

It is time to Dare to Share!

Made it through another crazy week.  Found out on Monday there was much more than the muffler that needed to be fixed on my car.  On Tuesday school was closed because it was election day, and in our area polling places are at the schools.  Since I did not have school on Tuesday, I forgot that I had a meeting that night and did not realize it until my friend texted me asking where I was.  Today I picked up what I thought was going to be an easy sub day in the media center.  When I got to school I found out they needed to do gym instead.. EEK!  While it was not what I planned on doing, I survived the day.  LOL! It is getting really late so I need to get this party started.

Dare to Share #390

It is Saturday, and you know what that means..

It is time to Dare to Share!

I'm sorry to be so late with the party this weekend. I have a good reason though. Had a bit of car trouble over the weekend. Last night I was driving to pick up my friend to go to a Halloween dance.  As I was turning a corner we heard a very loud boom, and then a clunking noise. It sounded like a tire blew, but I had no idea why it would have.  Luckily we were still only a block away from her house, so we turned around and parked it in her parking lot.  When we looked at the car, we saw the tire was fine. Since it was 6 pm on a Friday we knew it was too late to do much with it, so we left to the dance in her car.   I spent the night on her couch last night since I would be without a car if she dropped me off at my house. This morning my ex husband came by to drive the car to a mechanic, while I drove behind him in his car.  Driving behind my car, I was able to see that the muffler was the problem.  Something attaching the muffler in place broke or came loose.  The muffler was hanging very low to the ground and was bouncing around a lot. It was definitely what was causing all that noise.  We then got me a rental car, since my car will probably not be fixed until Monday.   Since he had drove the 45 minutes to take car of the car, I agreed to drive the 45 minutes to his house to pick up the kids.  Just got back and it is already late afternoon.   Everything will the cars will hopefully get back to normal in a few days.. On the bright side the Halloween dance was a blast, and we celebrated my birthday with a huge Costco Unicorn cake.

Now that I have had my birthday party, it is time to start this party..

Dare to Share #388

It is Saturday morning, and you know what that means..

It is time to Dare to Share!

I have a confession to make.  I actually forgot about the party this morning. I was out much later than normal last night helping take care of a friend in need.  I slept in a little bit later than normal today, because of how late I went to bed.  As I was waking up, a friend called to make plans for later this afternoon, Her son just left on a really big trip today, and she needs some friend time.  Then right after that a third friend was was telling me about a date he has later which he is a bit nervous about,  since it is his first once since his divorce. My friends are like my family, and sometimes they want to talk to me all at once. I really don't mind though. I know I am blessed to have wonderful people in my life, even if they make me forget to post the party on my blog.

Speaking of the party, let's get it started..

It is Saturday morning, and you know what that means..

It is time to Dare to Share!

Sorry for being a little bit late this morning.  My computer mouse has been missing since late yesterday afternoon. I know it is around here somewhere, but have not found it yet.  I don't know about you but using a laptop without a mouse is annoying and not easy to do. I am trying to start the party the best I can without my computer doing all kinds of weird things that I do not want it to do.  So I am going this party started now and then back to looking for the remote.

It is Saturday morning, and you know what that means..

It is time to Dare to Share!

Sorry I am a bit late this morning, I had to get a little extra sleep.  You are probably wondering how my reunion went last week.  I had a great time, and I am so happy I went. It was a strange feeling after seeing everyone after so many years, because everyone looked so old.  It is did not matter how old we were though, most of the people attending talked, mingled and danced like we see each other all the time.  Several people mentioned they would like to have yearly informal get-togethers so we don't have to go without seeing each just for 5 years.  If you ever have the chance to go to a reunion, I highly recommend it.

It is Saturday morning, and you know what that means..

It is time to Dare to Share!!

So I am having an interesting weekend.  I am having a high school reunion.  I have not been able to go to the last few of them, so I have not seen many of my classmates in MANY years.  I am kind of nervous, kind of excited.  It will be nice catching up on people I grew up with.  I have seen a few pictures from last nights casual get together.  There are a few I do not recognize! I will have to update how it goes on the next Dare to Share.   My question for this week..  Do you like to go to reunions?

It is time to get this party started, because I need to get on the road soon. (my reunion is 3 hours away)

It is Friday night, and you know what that means..

It is time to Dare to Share!

Can you believe it is the last weekend of summer, and fall starts on Monday.  I know I say this a lot, but I can  not believe how fast the year has flown by.  Are you excited about fall?  I have mixed feelings about it.  I LOVE football, and wearing sweaters and cute boots. I love all the fun fall activities such as apple picking, and hayrides etc.  My birthday is in the fall and Halloween is such a fun holiday.  But fall also means that winter will be here soon, and I am not fond of cold and snow.    What is your favorite season?

It is Saturday morning, and you know what that means..

It is time to Dare to Share!

I went to a dance last night where we had a tribute for one of the DJs who has passed.  Got home kind of late, and was too tired to post last night again.  I am excited today though, that FOOTBALL is back in full force.  High School, College and Pro..  My college is playing another smaller school at home so it could be a high scoring game.  Who is your favorite football team?

Let's get this party started!  Link up and HAVE FUN!
