Dare to Share #387

It is Saturday morning, and you know what that means..

It is time to Dare to Share!

Sorry for being a little bit late this morning.  My computer mouse has been missing since late yesterday afternoon. I know it is around here somewhere, but have not found it yet.  I don't know about you but using a laptop without a mouse is annoying and not easy to do. I am trying to start the party the best I can without my computer doing all kinds of weird things that I do not want it to do.  So I am going this party started now and then back to looking for the remote.

It is Saturday morning, and you know what that means..

It is time to Dare to Share!

Sorry I am a bit late this morning, I had to get a little extra sleep.  You are probably wondering how my reunion went last week.  I had a great time, and I am so happy I went. It was a strange feeling after seeing everyone after so many years, because everyone looked so old.  It is did not matter how old we were though, most of the people attending talked, mingled and danced like we see each other all the time.  Several people mentioned they would like to have yearly informal get-togethers so we don't have to go without seeing each just for 5 years.  If you ever have the chance to go to a reunion, I highly recommend it.

It is Saturday morning, and you know what that means..

It is time to Dare to Share!!

So I am having an interesting weekend.  I am having a high school reunion.  I have not been able to go to the last few of them, so I have not seen many of my classmates in MANY years.  I am kind of nervous, kind of excited.  It will be nice catching up on people I grew up with.  I have seen a few pictures from last nights casual get together.  There are a few I do not recognize! I will have to update how it goes on the next Dare to Share.   My question for this week..  Do you like to go to reunions?

It is time to get this party started, because I need to get on the road soon. (my reunion is 3 hours away)

It is Friday night, and you know what that means..

It is time to Dare to Share!

Can you believe it is the last weekend of summer, and fall starts on Monday.  I know I say this a lot, but I can  not believe how fast the year has flown by.  Are you excited about fall?  I have mixed feelings about it.  I LOVE football, and wearing sweaters and cute boots. I love all the fun fall activities such as apple picking, and hayrides etc.  My birthday is in the fall and Halloween is such a fun holiday.  But fall also means that winter will be here soon, and I am not fond of cold and snow.    What is your favorite season?

It is Saturday morning, and you know what that means..

It is time to Dare to Share!

I went to a dance last night where we had a tribute for one of the DJs who has passed.  Got home kind of late, and was too tired to post last night again.  I am excited today though, that FOOTBALL is back in full force.  High School, College and Pro..  My college is playing another smaller school at home so it could be a high scoring game.  Who is your favorite football team?

It is time to Dare to Share!

Happy Labor Day weekend! Can you believe it is September already?  I am still trying to hold on to summer a long as I can. School has started back up here before Labor Day for the first time in several years, so that has been kind of strange.

Do you have any plans for the holiday weekend?

It is Saturday morning, and you know what that means..

It is time to Dare to Share!

Have you ever had a night when you are so tired that you were asleep as soon as your head it the pillow? Then were in such a deep sleep that you woke up many hours later that you felt like you had no idea what day it was? That was me last night.  When I got home last night I was going to post the party but I was just too tired to keep my eyes open long enough to do it.  Everything is fine, I just could not sleep the night before and then had a long day helping at a friend's house on a project.  The next few days may be kind of busy.  We go back to school on Monday and I have already been asked to work on the first day of school. I have a list of things I need to get done this weekend, and one of them is to get this party posted..  So with that it is time for Dare to Share!

It is Friday night, and you know what that means..

It is time to Dare to Share!!

Today was the last day at my summer camp job. While I really enjoyed it, working this summer made for the quickest summer of my life.  Summer is also a bit shorter for us this year, because we are going to back to school a few weeks earlier than in years past.  While I am a bit sad to say goodbye to all the kids I got to know over the last several weeks, it is going to be nice having my first week off in the last several months. It will be nice to sleep in for at least a couple of days..

Speaking of sleep, it is getting late here so I am going to get this party started..

It is Friday night, and you know what that means..

It is time to Dare to Share!

Had a really fun day at work today.  We took a tour of a major sports stadium with the kids.  Since I love football it was quite the treat.   We got to see what it is like in the locker rooms, suites, and on the actual field. The kids and the teachers really seemed to enjoy it.  What is your favorite stadium, or arena?

It is time to Dare to Share!

Sorry everyone, better late than never you can say..

Yesterday evening our area got hit with a pretty bad thunderstorm and most of the area lost power. We are also going through a heat wave and it is one of the hottest days of the year. Once the power came back on, I forgot that I did not post the party for a few hours.. so here we are now..

What is the weather like where you live?

It is Saturday morning, and you know what that means..

It is time to Dare to Share!

I know I am posting this a bit later than normal. This week was a very busy week, and it all caught up with me last night.  We had three field trips in a row this week, which was a lot of fun.   I also went to the dance right after work like I normally do. On the way home I started to feel very tired. (good thing I was not driving)  Once home I felt so sleepy, I thought I would lay down for a bit and then post the party.  10 hour of sleep later here I am.. LOL!

Better late than never!

It is Friday night, and you know what that means..

It is time to Dare to Share!

Did you have a good 4th of July?  This year it seems to be a multiple day celebration since it was mid week.  We had a cookout/party at my friend's house on a lake on the actual day, went to a 4th of July themed dance tonight, and will see a local town's fireworks tomorrow.  I would love to hear what you did for the 4th.

Since it is getting late, I am going to get this party started..
