It is Friday night, and you know what that means...
It is time to Dare to Share!
Did you survive Snowmageddon 2026? I just realized that I forgot to post last the Dare to Share party last weekend, but in my defense we were preparing for the snow. In my part of Ohio, we were expecting more than a foot of snow. Just to the south of us they were also expecting ice. Thankfully we only got snow where I live, but we got A LOT of it. I think the total was about 15 inches in a day and a half. I am used to a lot of snow from my years in Michigan, but that much is not common in my part of Ohio. It took a few days to dig out, and schools have been closed all week. Not only because the snow and icy roads, but the wind chills close to 20 below. Near where I work, we also had several water main breaks turning the roads in to sheets of ice
The grand baby lives very close so she has been able able to visit us a couple of times this week. She is still loving and using the play house I made here. Earlier this week I decided to change it over to Valentines Day. I had a bunch of felt hearts from the Dollar Tree that I attached around the playhouse.
Well that is what is new where I live. Next week will hopefully be back to normal again.
Now you know what I have been up to this week, I want to see what you have been up to. Link up and HAVE FUN!

Thank you for hosting! 😊 We're definitely looking forward to when the Spring weather comes back around.
ReplyDeleteI can not wait until Spring!
DeleteNo snow here in East Texas, but so so cold! Thanks for hosting! Stay warm...
ReplyDeleteHopefully you have warmed up in Texas. We are still freezing in Ohio! It's going to be below zero again this weekend.
DeleteStay warm! I adore the playhouse you made. You are amazing!
ReplyDeleteXo Lisa

We would love you to share with SSPS & HIH https://esmesalon.com/tag/seniorsalonpitstop/
We had a couple of rough days this week too, but not as much snow. There are still giant piles everywhere.
DeleteWhat a great playhouse for your little granddaughter--she will have fun at your house! Thanks for the party. Stay safe and warm--your doggies, too.
ReplyDeleteShe loves coming over to play. The doggies are hanging in there with the snow. I'm sure they will be happy when they can play outside again soon when it warms up at bit.
DeleteGrandchildren are so much fun - especially when they live close at hand; thanks for sharing & have a funtastic week, ahead!
ReplyDeleteWe feel blessed we live so close. :)
DeleteYou definitely got a lot of snow! Glad you were able to dig out of it! The hearts are a wonderful addition to your Little's playhouse! Thanks for the party!
ReplyDeleteThank you about the hearts. I may change it for St. Patricks Day and Easter too.
