#LEGO Movie Party Games and Activities

If you are planning a LEGO Movie Party, and need some fun games and activities, here is a list of ideas you might want to try.  I have already seen this movie twice, because it is just so much fun, and there is just so much going on that you see new things every time you watch.

LEGO Movie Party Games and Activities

LEGO Movie Party Be a Master Builder Activity

In the movie most of the main characters are Master Builders.   Being a Master Builder means you can pretty much build anything you need, quickly and without the instructions. The regular people of Bricksburg, are always following the instructions, including Emmet.  Along the way he learns that  seeing things in a different way is easier than you think.  If you have a lot of Legos, lay them out for the kids, and have them be Master Builders to see what they create.  Kyle went through a Bionicle phase, so in addition to his regular LEGOs, he has an entire bin of Bionicle parts.

Here are some of the random creations Kara came up with using the bins of LEGOs.

LEGO Movie Party Game Find the Minifigure

If you have a lot of LEGO Mini figures like we do, you could play a game of Find the Minifigure.

You could also put out some basic minifigure shapes, and other art supplies, and have the kids Create a Minifigure.

LEGO Movie Minifigure Characters

I found these LEGO Movie minifigure blind bags at Target for only $2.99 each.  They would be perfect to put in the goody bags, but they also gave me some inspiration on some Pin the Tail  games.. You could play:

Pin the Ponytail on WyldStype
Pin the Pants on the Where's My Pants Guy
Pin the Piece of Resistance on Emmet
Pin the horn on Princess Unikitty
the possibilities are endless with this game.

Did you know that Lego.com has coloring pages of all your favorite LEGO Movie characters?  You can find many to download and print on their site.

I did a search online, and found a blog that has some awesome LEGO Minifigure Bingo Cards called Big D and Me.  These cards  are definitely worth checking out.

LEGO Movie Party Photo Props

Of course you can always have fun being your favorite LEGO movie characters using Photo Props and a backdrop.

If you extra paper bags around the house, you could have the kids Make Construction Worker Vests to look like Emmet

Did you know that LEGO has actual board games? Over the years we have acquired several. Depending on the ages of the guests, they might even enjoy playing LEGO themed games.

If you child has seen the movie, get them involved in the planning. I bet they would have some very creative ideas.
