Dare to Share #93

It's Friday night, so you know that means!
It's time to Dare to Share!

How was your week?

If you follow me on Instagram, or read my latest posts on Surviving the Crazy Life, you would know that my week was quite eventful.  On New Years Day we got 8 inches of snow,  then on January 5th, we got over a foot more.  We had two feet of snow in just a couple of days, and we  were completely snowed in for a time.  Then on Monday, the day the kids would have gone back to school, the temperature dropped to dangerous levels. We had record breaking low temps where I live. On Tuesday it hit -14 degrees before wind chill. After wind chill the temps were close to - 40 degrees.  My kids  ended up getting three bonus days of Christmas break this week. Add that to the icy day off before break,  and we had a three week break!  Yesterday was their first day back  to school since December 19th.  After school, my son went missing for 90 minutes (you can read more about that here.)  I thought today would be the day that we would finally get back to normal.. Nope,  I woke up to a sick child, who ended up with  yet another day off of school.   Maybe next week we will finally get back to our routine, and I can finally take the Christmas trees down.

So due to my very unusual week, the Frozen party will be two weeks long.  I have several posts coming in the upcoming days I promise!

I did have the chance to share an updated twist on my Sweet Snowflakes Treats. These are super to easy to make, and taste really good.  I also shared what we ate and did for a Snow Day Party.

I did have three fabulous Dare to Share Features of the Day this week, like this DIY Workbench tutorial by Wilker Dos

This Household Management Binder by Kims Kandy Kreations

and  the Kisses on Canvas project by Wesens-Art

Now it is time for this week's party. I don't have a lot of rules for this party.  You can pretty much link up anything that you would like to share.   You do not have to be a follower to link up, but I would sure love it if you were.   If you are chosen as a Dare to Share Feature of the Day you post will be shared on the blog, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and G+

Link Up and Have Fun!

  2. Wow! It sure sounds like you had an eventful week. We missed out on most of the cold and snow last week, and definitely wasn't sad about that. I don't envy you, but I admit sometimes it's nice to have a day where you are forced to stay inside and just stay warm.

Hope your week gets back to normal! I can't wait to see your Frozen party. You always do such a great job!

  3. Untouched snow looks so nice. Even though I dislike winter (living in the wrong country, hahhaa) I love photos everything covered with soft white. Keep warm!
