It's Friday night, and you know what that means..
It is time to Dare to Share!
Happy Friday! It's been another busy week around here. Last weekend we went to a fall festival with our grand baby on Saturday and a Journey tribute band concert on Sunday. Our grandbaby had so much fun the the fall activities, and seeing all the animals. I got some adorable pictures of her at the event. It was threatening rain the last hour our so, but we made it until the very end and made it to the car before the rain started. We did enjoy the music at the concert on Sunday, but you could tell during most of the second set that the lead singer was losing his voice. We were the second concert of the weekend. They had played on Saturday night as well, and most likely two concerts just a little over 12 hours apart strained his voice.
I spent several days crafting. I am still doing the 31 Days of Halloween Diys on both my Instagram and Tik Tok if you want to follow along. One recent DIY is the mummy lantern in the picture about. I love how bright it has been on my porch after a sunny day. (it's solar)
A fun thing we are doing this weekend is having a belated birthday party for my grand baby. Due to buy schedules and one set of grandparents living far away, her parents decided to postpone her party for a bit. She LOVES Gabby's Dollhouse. It is her very favorite show. After finding paper mache boxes at the Dollar Tree a few months back, I decided to make her some Gabby Cat boxes. She is going to be so excited when she sees these. She tried to play with the plain boxes when I first got them. I'm not quite finished with them yet, but I have made her boxes of her favorite characters in the show. They have been a lot of fun to make. I will probably make the rest of the characters if I find more boxes.
Later this month we have two Halloween parties to go to, and I picked out my costume this week. I will have to do a little but of alterations on it, but that it normal when you are barely over 5 feet tall. Can you tell by this photo what my costume is going to be?
