I did something fun this week. We had the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile visit our area the last several days. One of the stops was near my work so I went to go see it. I have seen one before a few years ago, but it was late in the evening and it was just parked in a parking lot. This time it was official visiting hours where they had two reps greeting people and taking photos. They reps were so nice, and really loved their jobs.
We had the grand baby over one day this week and she was going through my stuff. I had my Halloween craft supplies out and she wanted to make something. I recently found these felt shapes in the Dollar Tree craft aisle. I also recently picked up some gift bags that are currently on sale for $1. Since she is still pretty young, making these gift bags was something that we could do together. I put tape on the back and she put the felt shapes on the bags. I added then added some color with paint markers. I like how they turned out and it is a cute and easy way to make Halloween goody/gift bags.
As we get closer to Halloween, I am going through some of my old DIYs and crafts. Dollar Tree still carries the condiment containers which I have used to make treat boxes. They are easy to make, and fun for parties or in the classroom. If you are interested in seeing more on how I made them, and a few other holiday treat boxes you can see the post here.
Well it is getting late, so it is time to get this party started. Link up and HAVE FUN!

It sounds like you had a fun week! Thank you for hosting. Take care. 😊

I had the exciting opportunity to visit the Weinermobile as a child in Jacksonville, FL! They gave out Weinermobile whistles, too (much to mothers' consternation everywhere lol). How fun for you. Glad you had a fun time crafting with your little granddaughter--the best times. Thanks for the party, Pam.
ReplyDeleteThe bags you made with your granddaughter are really cute. What a great idea! I've never seen the Wiener Mobile in person but I think it's been around us before.
