Kids Eat Free at Bob Evans

On Friday, Kara asked if we could go to Walmart because she wanted to buy a new Animal Jam card. Since it was close to dinner time, I told her we could also stop at Bob Evans that was near the store for something to eat.   I checked my email to see if there were any coupons, and was surprised to see that kids eat free every weekday in March.  You could get one free kids meal for ages 12 and under for every adult entree purchased from 2 p.m-close.   I ordered the Cranberry Pecan Chicken Salad which was big enough for 3 meals, and she ordered the Plenty-O-Pancake meal. There sure were plenty of pancakes, you got 5 of them with this meal. (she only ate 3!)

She also asked if she could get the Reeses Cup Smile sundae.  When I saw it was only $1.59, I said sure why not. She shared it with me, and I have to say it was very good.

While I was there, I found out that Bob Evans has 10 take out family meals for 4 for under $20, and soups that serve 4 for only $5. This sounds like a great alternative to those nights when you are just too busy to cook, and don't want to hit the drive thru again.  You can now order online which make it even more convenient when you are on the go.

Dinner for the two of us, that included a  dessert, and soft drink  and plenty of leftovers was only $12 before tip.  We would have also received a free cookie through their Sweet Treat Club, but I accidentally left the coupon on the printer.  I thought this was such a good deal, that it was worth sharing on the blog. So if you live near a Bob Evans and  would like a good inexpensive meal, be sure to stop in this month.
