Dare to Share #47 and Giveaway Winner

This week was quite hectic around here.   As many of you know I decided to take on a massive project last weekend.  You can see the before pictures of my scary, scary craft room here.  On Saturday when I had craft stuff spread throughout several rooms in the house, we  found out that we were going to have an appraisal on Wednesday, because we are hoping to refinance. Since I had to clean the rest of the house, I had to put the craft room organization on hold.  I am happy to say, that I made tremendous progress,  and the craft room looked halfway decent when I needed it to.

Also this week, child #3 came down with whatever it  was that was  going around.  Just as Kara started feeling better on Sunday, her older sister Kristina was starting to feel worse.   She ended up staying home from school for 3 days. For 10 days in a row, I had at least one sick child since they all decided to take turns.

On Tuesday, I shared one of my favorite St Patrick Day posts from last year, Leprechaun Marshmallow Pops. These were a huge hit with my kids, and  very fun to make. I think I might try and make them again this year.

There was no rest on Thursday, when Kara and I were in charge of one of our girl scout  troop's cookie booths  right after school.  We had a great location INSIDE, and sold a lot of cookies.

Today was the first day of our mid winter break, and a great morning for all of us to catch up on some much needed rest.  In the next 3 days of break, I hope to make a few projects, write a few Examiner articles, and catch up on a very large pile of laundry.

The Crafters Dream Group Giveaway ended at midnight on Thursday.  We had over 6200 entries!    And the winner is.....

Melanie S..   the winning entry was to enter the grand prize which has been verified.    I will be contacting you shortly!
