Dare to Share #38 and Febreze Giveaway Winner

I have to admit, I am having a hard time getting into blogging today.  In addition to my daughter being injured and then having a Christmas concert tonight, I am still reeling by the news of the day. I feel so bad for the families who woke up this morning like normal, and tonight have one less family member to hug. This picture of Buddy was actually taken a few days ago, but I found it fitting to share today.

Speaking of Buddy, did you see this picture I shared on Instagam yesterday.  One of our local Salvation Army bell ringers dressed up like our favorite Elf.  He looks pretty similar to the real Buddy, and everyone was loving it.

Did you read the story of our new pet Sonic the 2nd? If not, you can read it here.  We found out that while this Sonic looks exactly like the first one, it does have a few different traits.. This Sonic is a bit of an escape artist and daredevil.   The other day it rolled its ball out of Kara's room (she thought the door was shut) and went down the stairs. He was not hurt but did make a loud squeaking noise, something Sonic the 1st never did.  It has also jumped out of Kara's hands and off a queen size bed unhurt. This Sonic loves to run in its wheel just like the other Sonic. I am sure we will have many more adventures with this hamster.

I also wanted to announce the winner of the Febreze Giveaway that ended on Wednesday... The winner is..... Kathe B.  Congrats!  The winning entry was the your comment on how you would like to try holiday bloom and cheer..  I will be contacting you (most likely in a daytime hour since it is now almost 1 am. LOL)

Have you seen the Features of the Day this week?  Make sure you stop by and say Hi to these wonderful bloggers.
