Thanksgiving Leftover Pizza

Tonight we had a favorite meal that we look forward to all year long . I think it is just as anticipated as Thanksgiving dinner itself,  we ate Thankgiving Leftover Pizza.

Crescent roll dough make the perfect crust.  You can use either the dough that is all one piece or the one that is already cut.  Just make sure to pinch the seams if you use the regular dough.   Bake the crust for about 8 minutes in a 425 degree oven.

If you have leftover cranberry sauce, that will be used instead of traditional pizza sauce. If you have family members who are not big cranberry fans, Smuckers Black Cherry Topping is a great alternative.   Cover the crust with whichever sauce you decide to use.

Edited: I am not sure if Black Cherry Topping is still being made. (2017) The last few times I have made this I have used Aldi brand cranberry sauce with berries.

Now it is time for the stuffing.  I normally use a box of Stove Top, but this year we tried something different. We had friends in town this week and we were blessed with homemade stuffing this year.

Add some shredded turkey on top of the stuffing.

Now the cheese..  We LOVE cheddar on this pizza best.  I am sure it would taste just as good with other cheeses, but we have not tried them yet.    Bake for an additional 6 minutes.

Enjoy!!!
