Dare to Share #456

It is Friday night, and you know what that means..
It is time to Dare to Share!

I mentioned in my post activities and treats for a snow day, earlier this week that we got close to a foot of snow on Monday night, so we had a snow day off of school on Tuesday.  Over the last couple of days we got about three inches more, making our snow total close to a foot.  While it seems like a lot, I live in Michigan, and we are prepared for the storms that hit the country this week. Just this afternoon my mom asked me if we were snowed in. She currently lives in southern Missouri, which does get some snow, but not usually as much as they did this week.  I told her that no, we were not snowed in. In fact after one day, it was back to business as usual. For my nieces and nephew that was not the case, they were out of school all week. I have a couple of relatives who live in Texas and I can not even imagine what they are going through right now. Every day on the news I see they have no power, freezing temps and burst pipes, no running water, and now no food at the stores. I am sending lots of prayers to all involved, and hope things get better as soon as possible.

Have you or someone you know been affected by the winter storm this week?

Maybe seeing some of your shared posts will make everyone feel a little more hopeful. Let's link up and HAVE FUN!

We also have lots of snow, but, like you in Michigan, we are prepared for it. Also feeling bad for our friends in Texas.

  5. I think we might have talked about both being in Michigan before. I am currently on the east side of the state and get a lot less than when I lived on the west side. I love our state in the summer, but not so much in the winter. :)
