Dare to Share #82

It's Friday night, and you know what they means..
It's time to Dare to Share!
What have you been up to this week?

Early in the week, I shared a post about a movement for tween girls.  Having a tween girl, I really like what the Fortune Girls  is all about. It  was started  by a tween girl named Madison. She has a passion for art, and started drawing The Fortune Girls at a young age. (my tween has a passion for art as well)  The girls come from all areas of the world, and each have their own special personality. You can read more about the Fortune Girls and what they hope to do for tween girls here.

Did you know that I am currently having a giveaway?  I was recently given the opportunity to try Small Wall Paint Sample Boards.  They are so cool!  If you want to paint a room but not sure what color you want to use,  you can test the colors on Small Wall. You will be able to see what the paint color will look like without actually painting the wall.  They are also great for crafting.  I am currently using them for a few things in my own home.  Three winners will win a Small Wall pack.  I hope you consider entering, because it really is an awesome product.  You can enter the giveaway here.

I didn't write a post about it, but I did have something happen this week that I want to share.  For the last few years, I have been part of an awesome group of women at a local church.  There are so many things that we do.  One week we might have devotion time, another we might  meet for coffee and conversation.  They have accepted my oldest daughter as part of the group, which has been really good for her.  Just this year we started something called the Honey Do list..  We meet in each others homes, and help with tasks that need to be done.  This month it was my turn.  As you know may know, I am a bit organizationally challenged.  I had the group help me in the kitchen.  Two helped organize drawers that I will never get to. Another organized my blogging baking area (pictured), two more help me catch up on some of my coupons.  I wanted to share this picture, because this is probably the nicest this area is ever going to look. :)

Kara has already been in the baking area!  I had some cupcakes that needed some decoration, but I did not have time to do it today.  She came up with three Halloween cupcakes, that turned pretty good. They would be a fun Halloween party activity for a tween or tween.  You can see what she came up with here.

One last thing that I want to share. As we are getting closer to the holidays, there will be many great deals and coupons for gifts, food, restaurants,  and so much more.  I LOVE a great deal, and I LOVE to coupon. As I come across these deals online and in the stores, I will be sharing them on my Deals and Coupons page that can now be found near the top of my blog.  Keep checking back, as deals will change frequently.
