Dare to Share Features #8 and #9

I have made a lot of progress with my to do list today.

I home schooled for a few hours.  My daughter completed her Algebra class, 11 days early with a 82%!
Woohoo!!.. Happy Dance!! She also got bit more done in Social Studies.  We are on track to finish everything on time, and possibly even early.. =:O  <---------  My shocked face

Progress was made in the garage for the garage sale.  All of the tables, and shelving was set up.  Boxes were sorted and placed near the area they will be displayed.   The garage is beginning to take shape

Still on the agenda tonight, work on the red bird costume.  We did some planning last night, so at least there is a new plan in place.  I am going to make a red tutu type skirt to go over a red cover up we found at Target. Kara is going to help make glove type things for her arms and cover them with feathers tomorrow.    She took a private dance lesson and has a choreographed dance if she remembers it.  At least no one will know if she has messed up, since it is a solo dance.

Also on my to do list  today..  My feature post!!  Hopefully featuring two week of parties at a time will not become a habit.  There were some really wonderful links, so it was hard to narrow it down to just a few.
If you were featured, feel free to use the Pams Party Blog button in the upper right corner.

I adore these earrings from A Rosie Sweet Home.  Earring making is one of the crafts that I have not attempted but with  this tutorial I think I might have to give it a try this summer.   Kara is really into earrings, so I know she wants to make some too.

Also from A Rosie Sweet Home are these beautiful flower accessories.  Hair accessories are also some- thing that Kara is really into right now,  and wants to try to make at home.

A recipe I would really like to try is this Quiche Lorraine by Watch Out Martha. It looks like the perfect meal for a weekend breakfast, and is something that my entire family would enjoy.

If you are looking for a fun shower idea, check out the cowgirl themed bridal shower thrown by Intentional Hospitality. It looks like memories were made, and love that it had a fun theme.

Brilliant like Fireflies share a super cool photo canvas that can be easily done with your favorite photo.  She has an easy to follow tutorial that makes a piece of art worthy of displaying.

Thank  you so much to everyone who linked up.  I love that my readers or so talented.
