Dare to Share #118

It's Friday night, and you know what that means..
It is time for Dare to Share (4th of July edition)

I hope everyone has a great 4th of July.  We went to two parades and then went to go see some fireworks in a neighboring town.   This week did not go as planned.   In the middle of the night, we had yet another storm.

Our power went out at 3 a.m., and we would not get it back until 9:30 Tuesday night.  We were forced to spend the day offline playing board games, and hanging out with friend at the lake.

The very next day was Kara's 13th birthday.  She had made plans to have a fun day with her best friend.  Around 8 in the morning she woke up and said she did not feel well.   She ended up spending the majority of her birthday sleeping on the couch with a fever.  Since we did not have power the day before, and she was sick the day of, I did not make her a cake.  Instead we had cookie sundaes.   She will be having a party in a few weeks, and I will make sure she gets a cake then.    She was still not feeling well Thursday.  Luckily she was feeling good enough today for 4th of Jlouly festivities.

Thank goodness for fabulous features this week.   If you have any watermelon left after this weekend, you should try to make this Watermelon Refresher by A Dose of Paige

This weekend is not over yet, so there is still plenty of time for this Free 4th of July Printable by Carrie Elle

Pounds 4 Pennies shared a great way to make Homemade Ice Cream without an ice cream maker.  This is definitely a recipe you can use for the rest of the summer.

Now it is time for this week's party.   You can link up anything that you would like to share.  If you are chosen as a Dare to Share Feature of the Day, your post will be promoted on the blog, Facebook, Twitter Pinterest and G+.

Now link up and HAVE FUN!
