Why We Love our BISSELL Vacuum

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of BISSELL Homecare, Inc..  All opinions are 100% mine.

When I was asked if I could write a post for BISSELL pet vacuums, it was super easy to say yes.  Not only do I already own a BISSELL pet vacuum that I love, I also have a house full of pets and kids.  Put pets and kids together, and you are going to have chaos and  messes.  That is especially true at our house.

One of my kids (who shall remain nameless) is affectionately known as the human tornado. Wherever she goes a mess seems to follow her.  The tornado is also well known  for her love of her many animals.  You can often find her playing with one of her cats or hamsters who also seem to make a mess.  Very frequently we have the need to vacuum  a trail of cat hair, or hamster food and bedding all over the house.  The BISSELL Power Glide Pet Vacuum with Lift Off Technology is the perfect vacuum to tackle our tornado size mess.

I love that it is lightweight  and powerful so it is able to clean off the stairs with ease.  The lift-off pod, crevice tool, and long stretch hose make it easy to clean that hard to reach pet hair.  There are many  key features of this vacuum that make it work so well in our house

No loss of suction and sealed system

One step removeable pod for portable cleaning

Long stretch hose

Lightweight

Swivel steering with maneuverability

Adjustable handle for easy use and storage

12 inch foot for stability

Large capacity dirt cup

27 foot  cord

and it comes with a TurboBrush and crevice tool

If you have tornado size messes too, here are some cleaning tips from BISSELL that you might find helpful.

  1. It's good to know they are more lightweight now. I used to have a Bissell but it was so big and bulky it was hard to maneuver around the house.

    1. I agree with you on the lightweight factor.. I have two floors and it can be hard to take the vacuum up and down the stairs.. It is much easier to carry now.

  2. I really could use something like this. I have a dog and 3 cats and have to vacuum almost every day to keep all of the fur at bay! Great write up, I will have to go and check it out.

    1. I should vacuum a little more often.. Between the hair of the 3 cats, my daughter playing with her hamsters downstairs and leaving a trail of bedding and food, and everyday kid messes I have a lot of do.. It picks up so much, that I can pretty much fill up the cup each time I use it. :)

    1. I don't think I ever got tennis elbow, but I have tweeked my back before.. Heavy vacuums were difficult to carrying up and down the stairs..

  5. I wish they had a rent a vac so you could try them out. BUT it's always good to get a referral.

    1. What a great idea! You might be able to try them out at a vacuum store, but they might try to only sell their more expensive vacuums. We have had our BISSELL for over a year and it works just as good, if not better, than our old Dyson.

    1. My tornado is 12, and just makes bigger messes as she gets older. :)

  7. I need a new vacuum cleaner so badly. I'm going to have to look into getting a Bissell. I think this would work great in our house. Thanks for sharing.
