Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss!

March 2 is almost here.   Kids everywhere are going to celebrate Dr. Seuss's birthday but reading books and eatting green eggs and ham.    My youngst daughter recently had to do a book report on Theodor Geisel aka Dr. Seuss.   His  first book was And to Think That  I Saw It on Mulberry Street,   based on an imaginary parade when on a street  had in his boyhood town.   Almost 30 publishers rejected his book.  He was so discouraged that he almost gave up writing.. Can you imagine?  I am so grateful he did not give up and become one of the favorite authors of children and adults everywhere.

Across blogland I have found several tributes to Dr. Seuss that you can easily do in honor of March 2.

How about making Cat in the Hat marshmellow pops from Mega Crafty..   You can follow her easy tutorial here.
